The Really Pertinent Facts:

30,313 inspections performed since 1979*

Customer Satisfaction Rating is 99.3%*

* as of July 2011

What you really want to know is if your inspector is going to find every single defect...

Regardless of what other inspectors will lead you to believe on their websites or in their conversations, NO HUMAN is perfect.

I follow a very specific procedure that requires me to walk through every room in a specific order. This procedure was designed decades ago in an effort to minimize the possibility of missing something. I have followed this procedure over 30,000 times which makes it more natural to me than brushing my teeth.

I boast a Customer Satisfaction Rating of 99.3% overall since 1979. But that still means there are customers who are not completely satisfied with my services.

No certification, no license, no degree will guarantee you that any inspector will always find all the defects. However, the procedure that I follow gives me the very best chance to do just that.

And 30 years experience of doing inspections six days a week is the very best indicator of my ability to do the best inspection possible for you.

There is NO SUBSTITUTE for EXPERIENCE.

I have trained more than 100 individuals to be home inspectors and operate their own companies since 1985. Many of them are still successful inspectors. Many more were inspectors for a long period of time and have since retired. All of them followed the same procedures as I taught them.

Additionally, I still serve as a consultant to inspectors and realtors in the Kansas City area. When an inspector comes across something he’s never seen before, he immediately calls me (sometimes from the inspection) to ask if I’ve seen something similar in my 33 years of experience. So, even if you choose another inspector, chances are I am the one who taught him what he knows or I will be the one that he calls when he sees something he doesn’t understand.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the above statements make me seem arrogant or conceited, please understand that I am neither. I am a humble, genuine, down-to-earth guy. I just have very little faith in “traditional” certifications and qualifications because I’ve seen inspectors with tons of affiliations and initials after their names who are completely inept inspectors. The statistics listed above which give me the only credentials I  believe to be important are factual and accurate. Most inspectors don’t even keep statistics, much less guide themselves by them.
